UEFA provides financial backing for the victims of the extreme earthquake disaster in Turkey and Syria.
As the European Football Union revealed in a news release on Friday, 200,000 euros will be offered in an initial step to supply humanitarian support.

UEFA makes this donation to support the instant humanitarian reaction to this dreadful catastrophe, said UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin.

The association also wishes to coordinate the auxiliary efforts of its nationwide national associations.
In addition, in the coming week, silence will be held in all European club competitors.
The German Football Association (DFB) had already recommended this to the clubs of the female’s Bundesliga, the 3rd division and the second female’s Bundesliga for the coming weekend.
