When you first create your baseball player in Road To the Show, you have the opportunity to choose your team or go to a random 1. Later, if you are unhappy with your decision, you will have several opportunities to request a deal.

To request an exchange in MLB: The Show 22, you need to wait for interaction with the coach or agent during the season. When this interaction arises, select the correct dialog options to request a deal.

Your agent will ask how you are in the organization. Answer “Probably could be better”, and then select “I never saw myself with (your team).” Your agent will tell you about the options for the request of the transaction.

If your overall rating is high and you work well, you will have more opportunities for transactions. Being a player with the highest rating on your position, you increase your chances of a challenge, as well as the potential for exchanging. If there is a specific team in which you would like to go, check the list of their organizations to find out whether your rating is higher than the player in your league.
